- Lead business development strategy focused on new client acquisition and revenue growth
- Build, mentor, and manage a high performing sales team with clear expectations and accountability
- Drive prospecting activity and help create a consistent rhythm around outreach, follow up, and opportunity development
- Oversee pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, CRM usage, and reporting discipline
- Identify and pursue qualified opportunities across target accounts, industries, and referral channels
- Partner closely with internal creative, account, and operational teams to align solutions with client needs
- Support the development of proposals, presentations, and pitch strategies that reflect both client goals and operational realities
- Strengthen relationships across the industry to increase visibility, trust, and access to new business opportunities
- Monitor market activity and competitive movement to help inform sales strategy and business priorities
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client experience throughout the sales cycle
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development leadership experience within custom exhibits, trade shows, experiential marketing, or a closely related industry
- Demonstrated success generating revenue through new business development and strategic relationship building
- Experience leading sales teams and creating structure around performance, process, and pipeline management
- Strong understanding of consultative selling within a project-based or solution-oriented business
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in creative, production, or client facing environments
