In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating precise, detailed documentation across all aspects of custom exhibit builds. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating design intent into actionable plans, ensuring accuracy and feasibility in fabrication. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams in planning, fabrication, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop comprehensive construction drawings—including sections, plans, and elevations—for custom fabrication and shop production

Participate in internal kickoff meetings to align on project goals, timelines, and client expectations

Evaluate construction methods and detailing approaches prior to initiating the drafting process

Maintain organized and easily accessible drawing files and supporting documentation

Ensure construction drawings align with project budgets and estimating parameters

Collaborate with internal teams to recommend cost-effective materials and build strategies

Proactively manage schedules and deadlines both in-house and on show site
REQUIREMENTS

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Solid understanding of exhibit construction methods and materials

Ability to create 3D models to support setup drawings, exploded views, and on-site assembly instructions

Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet project deadlines
