Our client is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition efforts nationwide. This is a high-impact, performance-focused role ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving growth. The BDM will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, targeting high-value prospects, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires both strategic thinking and tactical execution to generate, nurture, and close new business while also identifying opportunities to expand account value over time.

Responsibilities

Drive net-new revenue by targeting and converting high-value prospects across trade show and face-to-face marketing sectors

Sell the full suite of custom exhibits, experiential services, and digital solutions

Generate qualified leads using outreach strategies including email, social media, cold calling, and networking

Develop and execute prospecting campaigns in partnership with marketing

Leverage CRM and sales enablement tools to manage pipeline activity and optimize conversion metrics

Deliver compelling presentations that position the company as a strategic partner

Achieve individual revenue targets through high win rates and deal size optimization

Expand newly acquired accounts by uncovering additional business units, programs, or revenue opportunities

Maintain clear communication with both internal stakeholders and client decision-makers

Forecast accurately and manage pricing strategy to support profitable growth
Requirements

2 to 5 years of B2B sales, lead generation, or business development experience

Familiarity with the trade show or live events industry is preferred

Experience using CRM platforms and prospecting software.

Strong understanding of sales pipelines, lead conversion strategies, and enterprise account development.

Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for client meetings or industry events.
