This Chicago-based Account Executive role is built for someone who thrives on relationships, momentum, and meaningful wins. You’ll grow new business and expand existing partnerships for a full-service exhibit team known for sharp thinking, strong follow-through, and work that shows up beautifully on the floor. You’ll guide clients toward the right solution including custom builds, modular programs, rentals, and multi-show support with a consultative approach that earns trust and keeps business coming back.

Responsibilities

  • Build a Chicago-focused pipeline through targeted outreach, referrals, networking, and strategic follow-up

  • Lead discovery that uncovers priorities: brand goals, budgets, timelines, stakeholders, and success measures

  • Create proposals and presentations that are tailored, clear, and decision-ready

  • Partner with internal teams early to align scope, feasibility, timing, and client expectations

  • Manage the full sales cycle from first conversation through close while maintaining strong momentum

  • Maintain clean CRM activity, accurate pipeline stages, and forecasting leadership can trust

  • Expand accounts post-win by staying close, spotting growth opportunities, and earning repeat work

  • Represent the organization in client meetings, site visits, and key industry events

Requirement

  • 3+ years of B2B sales success in exhibits, trade shows, experiential, live events, or branded environments

  • Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities and convert through consultative selling

  • Strong writing and presentation skills (polished, clear, client-ready)

  • Collaborative instincts and reliable follow-through that keep internal alignment tight

  • Disciplined CRM habits and consistent pipeline management

  • Travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
