Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead strategic client acquisition and expand revenue across high-value market segments. Responsibilities

Identify and engage decision-makers at high-value prospect organizations to drive new revenue opportunities in the trade show and face-to-face marketing sectors

Cultivate and convert leads through consultative, customer-centric sales tactics and strategic networking

Collaborate closely with marketing to develop messaging, outreach campaigns, and value-based content that fuels pipeline growth

Lead high-level discovery and pitch meetings; work cross-functionally to align capabilities with client needs

Drive revenue and margin growth through strong win rates and expanding deal sizes

Establish long-term value in new accounts via a “land and expand” strategy focused on program development and account penetration

Actively contribute to business development strategy by sharing innovative approaches, insights, and growth frameworks

Utilize CRM and sales tech stack to manage pipeline, monitor activity, and track performance against sales targets

Deliver accurate forecasting, pricing proposals, and strategic closing plans

Represent the company with confidence, expertise, and professionalism across industry engagements and client interactions
Requirements

Minimum 10 years of success in B2B business development, preferably in the trade show, live events, or brand experience industries

Proven ability to generate and close enterprise-level opportunities and complex programs

Demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performing pipeline and exceeding revenue targets

Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and modern prospecting tools
