Emerge XP is partnering with an established exhibit and event marketing partner to hire an Account Executive who can build relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support clients through the full lifecycle of their exhibit programs. This role is built for someone who knows how to turn conversations into opportunity. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing new client relationships, expanding assigned accounts, supporting proposals and presentations, and working closely with internal teams to move projects from early discovery through execution. The right fit brings strong follow through, polished communication, and the ability to manage both the client relationship and the details behind the work. This is a client facing sales role, but it also requires someone who understands budgets, timelines, internal coordination, profitability, and the level of service required in the exhibit industry.

- Generate new business relationships and sales opportunities within the exhibit and event space
- Build rapport with current and prospective clients to understand future service needs
- Service and expand assigned accounts with a focus on revenue growth and long term relationship value
- Prospect in person at assigned shows, markets, and industry events
- Coordinate client presentations and respond to requests for proposals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, clarity, and timely follow through
- Attend job launches and help ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution
- Meet with clients to understand project goals, requirements, budgets, and timelines
- Prepare and manage project budgets
- Maintain targeted profit margins across assigned business
- Stay current on exhibit industry techniques, procedures, show requirements, and client expectations
- Identify potential issues, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments
- Support client accounts from initial opportunity through project completion
- Partner with internal teams on proposal development, job costing, planning, and client service
- Lead internal before sale and post sale meetings to ensure alignment around client and project needs
- Maintain accurate client files, account records, prospecting lists, and CRM/database updates
- Collect, analyze, and summarize account information for reporting and follow up
- Support A/R account management follow up as needed
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to support proposal generation, project planning, and successful execution
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of exhibit industry sales experience
- Experience with custom exhibits, rental exhibits, modular exhibits, portable displays, corporate events, branded environments, I&D services, or related work is strongly valued
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent experience in sales, account management, client service, exhibits, construction, fabrication, or related project-based work will be considered
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and follow-through
- Effective communication and multitasking skills
- Service oriented approach with a polished client presence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
